Summer Reading
For the first time in many, many years I’ve begun a summer reading program. On Wednesday I stopped at the library and picked up a stack of hard-cover fiction with crinkly cellophane covers and thick manila pages. I finished my first one tonight. Next visit I’ll stock up on biographies. Have you got any suggestions?
Remember those hot-weather reading challenges sponsored by the local library? I think the prize in my day was usually a bookmark. Not that I needed any encouragement. Reading was my favorite summertime activity.
So here’s my proposal. Join my Summer Reading Program and for every 10 books you read between now and Labor Day I will send you a limited-edition copy of a Diane Linch original bookmark.
